I can’t go too long without this site, lol – the newspaper archives are a goldmine for genealogy research. |

Thank you so much for the newspaper archive search website!! I'm 47 years of age and just showed my 3 teenagers articles about me from the 1970's scoring goals in the sports I was involved in as a child. Very cool!!! (: |

I have been working on my family tree and find this site great for finding birth marriage and death notices in various newspapers. The Bowmanville Statesman and Essex Free Press and Newmarket newspaper are a great source. |

I am a frequent geneaology researcher for my family, and this site has opened up a whole new world for me. It is exciting to see and read the actual newspaper for births, deaths, weddings business etc. What a find! :) Thank you! |

I'm helping my husband, Nelson Draper, with his genealogy. His 3rd great grandfather was Joel Draper Sr who settled in York County at the beginning of the 19th century. The Our Ontario Newspapers site is invaluable in finding events and names. For example, we knew that Emanuel Nelson died when he went through the ice in 1938, but with your help, we now have the specific details of the accident and funeral arrangements. Thank you. |

You have an amazing site! Genealogy is my passion and your newspapers not only provide and verify information on the usual birth, marriage and death, but also give invaluable insight into the lives of our ancestors! Thanks for your hard work. |
