And yes, there will be a euchre in Utica Hall this Friday starting at 8 p.m. Being Good Friday, there have been some inquiries. Mrs. Crosier's daughter Jean Scott visited her last week. On Wednesday they attended the funeral of her niece Megan Wallace at Bolton. Bill and I celebrated our BUSINESS DIRECTORY children's birthdays on Sunday at the home of daughter Dorothy Gerrow and family in View Lake. Charlie and Sue were up from Joyceville. The big excitement of the day was a first hand view of the expertise of the two local fire departments (Janetville & Caesarea) at work as they handl- ed a cottage fire. A suggestion! Get on the loudspeaker and tell the neighbours what is happening so they don't have to strain their necks watching and wondering. Just kidding fellows - you do a great job. By the way they saved the cottage. I'm very pleased to hear that Mrs. Earl Fielding is home from hospital where she was a pacient for the past week. Murray and Marie Geer have just returned home from a 23 day tour to Australia and New Zealand and although they visited a great number of places of in- terest and met a lot of nice peo- ple they are glad to be back home.
