Whitby’s Anne Ottenbrite won two gold medals last week at the Canada Summer Games in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Ottenbrite won her first gold medal in the women’s 100 – metre breaststroke, setting a new record time of 2:37:72. The second came Friday (Aug. 21) as a member of the winning Ontario 100 – metre medley relay team, setting another record time of 4:20:47.
The 15 – year – old Whitby girl is a member of the Oshawa Aquatic Club.
