The team, sponsored by the Brooklln Redmen, were finalists in "C" division. The first game was Friday at 8:45 p.m. against Etobicoke whose goalie was tough to beat as Whitby had Aany more shots on goal than Etobicoke. Their goalie was un- beatable on a penalty shot by Wayne Paddick. Alan Frank and Anne Wlndover found the mark at the start of the second period. Kelly Vipond scored in the third. Final score was Etobicoke 7, Whltby 3. The second game was 3:20 p.m. on Saturday Whitby's Anne Otten- brite won two gold medals last week at the Canada Summer Games in Thunder Bay, On- tario. Ottenbrite won her first gold medal in the Women's 100-metre breaststroke setting a new record time of against Guelph who scored first but Alan Frank and Jonas Derks (his first of the year) put Whitby in the lead. Guelph tied the score in the second but Kelly Vipond and Jason Pit- ters scored to put Whit- by back in the lead. An- ne Windover scored four times in the last 8 minutes for a final score of Whitby à Guelph 4. The third game was played at 7:55 p.m. on Saturday against Beaches. Whitby held them to only 6 goals but only managed to score 2 on passes to Anne Win- dover. Sunday at 10:*45 a.m., Whitby faced elimina- tion against Oshawa who were ahead 3-0 until Whitby evened the score at the end of the 2:37:72.
