In all, eight bills were given second R reoading, and six passed by the House in Committse in a three--quarter--hour sitting yesterday. The second readings included amendments to the Local Im-- provement Act, the Railway Act, the Crown Administration of Estates Act, and the Trustee Act. In Committes the House carried the amendments to ; the Lunacy Act, the Public Trustee Act, the Private Detoctives Act, the Fire Marsha's Act, the Evidence Act, and the Judicatuuire Act.
