It is lile size, three-- quarters length, representing Mr. Mowat sitting in an easy chair, with one knee thrown over the other and a book in his hand, 'The features are admirably portrayed, the artist being as successfu! in delincating these as he has been in stamp» ing the whole work with the genius of his art.
