southeastern and east central sections of york county beginning the last week in novem ber and continuing until the middle of january 1951 this was announced by com mission chairman robert h saunders who stated that the domestic commercial and indus trial customers in agincourt stouffville and markham and in the rural districts served by markham rural operating area will have their frequency sensi tive electrical appliances and equipment changed over for oper ation on 00 cycle during that period the standardization program is scheduled to start for the estimat ed 290 customers of all classes in agincourt on november 29 and to completed on november 30 simultaneously changeover in volving customers served by markham roa in the agincourt area will commence on nov 30 thus will be followed by the standardization of equipment own ed by customers supplied by markham roa in the brougham area commencing december 5 during the period december 12- 18 approximately 000 customers of all classes in stouffville are scheduled to have their frequency sensitive equipment altered for 60cycle operation beginning about december 19 the customers served bv the markham roa in the ringwood area will have their equipment changed over work is expected to commence for the estimated 500 customers of all classes served by markham- hydroelectric system on january 5 and standardization program in that municipality is expected to be completed by january 9 the program then is scheduled to begin on january 11 in the unionville area for the customers served by markham roa in that district and to be completed about january 10 there are approximately 28s0j farms community dwellings and commerical establishments served by the various distribution stations in markham rural operating area the standardization program then will swing over to the wood- bridge and bolton districts and is expected to be completed there during march or april 1951 this virtually will mark the completion of the frequency changeover work in area a which is bounded on the east by stoutfville on the west by woodbridgc and bolton on the north by lake simcoe and sutton and on the south by lake ontario and scarborough township con forming very largely to the bound aries of york county however area a does not include the greater toronto district which is in area k scheduled tentatively for changeover
