brush growing in ditches the cost of calcium compared with the good it did and high assessment and taxes mr hill presented a sorry picture of the condition of fair- port road north where he stated there were large holes and dog- wood and trees growing profusely in the ditches i think both sides should be ditched he protested youve never been over it when its rough its 18 years ago since ward was going to ditch that road some of the places youve got to have 5 feet of water in it before it starts to run he stated fairport rd north didnt want any calcium put on they could have it done more cheaply by another party than by the township in 1950 it cost us 116 for cal cium for ivi miles and we can get it done for 35 it would take 28 bags he stated and added in 1949 ward put 3 bags on we followed him down deputyreeve todd concluded the ditching problem by saying i day evening sponsored by the move we do both sides right now womens institute was not as well and get it done councillor
