evening of january 10th it is to be hoped that the weather will be fine as a large turnout is looked for the annual meeting of xo 5 school was lield at the school on wednesday of last week when some ten ratepay ers were present leorge puckrin was elected chairman with arch bell the secretary following the order of business the report of the trustees was given by the secretary f m chapman he explained very fully the work of the board their meetings and the ways the school and grounds had been cared for it was felt by the trustees that there should be wiring and elecfical supplies we carry everyone it was moved that the re port be received and adopted which was carried unanimously the ratepayers suggested that meetings of the parents and teacher and trustees be more frequent and that the ceiling of the school be in- sulatedit was also felt that the ex pense for much of the schools and the school buildings should come out of consolidated revenue so that the incidence of taxation should not rest so heavily on farm lands and on small householders in their improve ments to their holdings as the sec retary was the retiring trustee he expressed a desire to retire upon motion by r
