morley has been ill with the mumps our aurora road has finally been opened but it was a difficult job little miss marjorie sproxton was rushed to the york county hospital at newmarket and underwent an appendix operation on february 1 she is improving nicely and will soon be home mrs russel sproxton and betty i marie is staying in aurora with mr and mrs howard oliver for the two weeks of marjories illness our snow plow is kept very busy and we are all hoping that no mora snow comes this winter mr alfred and garnet pattenden are home at present and will soon be leaving to resume their sawing a
