widemans church the entire sale was house furnishings and realized very good prices death claims aged resident the death of mrs hiram winter stein occurred on saturday at grace i hospital windsor in which city mrs winterstein had lived the past i few years she was 75 years of age the body is now resting at the undertaking parlors of l e oneill stouffville awaiting the arrival of her only son and offspring percy e winterstein who had been winter ing in florida immediately on notification ot his mothers demise he left miami with his wife to make the long treck back to canadian soil and is expected to be in stouffville next saturday when the funeral will be held saturday afternoon at 230 interment stouffville cemetery born in the township of king mrs wintersteins maiden name was arviua hughes after her marriage to hiram winterstein the couple farmed for many years in the twp of whitchurch finally retiring on a small place just north of the town on the 9th concession a few years ago windsor a few hours motor drive from their sons home at royal oak michigan mr winter stein died in windsor about two years ago a brother of mrs winterstein died in toronto recently and a surviving of the brides mother in almira markham twp on saturday afternoon may the sixteenth when rev john mcewen united in marriage verda esther only daughter of mrs gayman and the late mr gayman and clayton 85 buried wednesday the death of peter byer on mon day this week removes one who had spent more than threequarters of a century right on the sth concession ot markham he would have reach ed his soth birthday this august and had been in ill health for sever al years the funeral on wednesday afternoon from the home of his son j l byer on the old homestead proceeded to the widoman cemetery for interment born on the sth concession near the wideman church mr byer lived there until lie retired to town only a few years ago he was a son of john byer who came from pennsyl vania early in the last warriner of winnipeg called on his mother mrs s m warriner on monday he is down from the west attending the dental conven tion in toronto harold tottcn student at the dental college and grandson of
