mr and mrs c h shulver tho rev dr j t daley of port hope uncle of the bride performing tho ceremony assisted by rev e h toye pastor of the church autumn foliage palms and ferns were massed with large dahlias and other garden flowers to form an attractive sotting for tho event and soft organ music was played by mr cecil tate throughout the service the brido who was given in marriage by her father was gowned in shimmering white satin with rose point lace godets set in to lend a graceful flowing flaro to the skirt on ono shoulder a large bow of satin was looped allowing long ends to fall prettily down the back the long sleeves were fitted tightly to- tho arms and the high neckline was round her veil was made of em broidered net and was fastened to a coronet of pearls and caught at either sido with small clusters of orango blossoms she carried a shower bouquet of ophelia roses and lily of the valley miss annie smart acted as bridesmaid frocked in palest pink chantilly lace with touches of blue in sash lace mittens and blue velvet turban she carried talisman roses tho groomsman was mr william ii taylor brother of the bride and the usher mr horbert arms during the signing of tho register mrs fanny arnold wilson sang a wedding hymn after the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the brides parents when mr and mrs shulver and mr and mrs taylor received with the brido and groom mrs taylor wore a becoming gown of wine colored georgette and lace with a matching hat of felt and a corsage of talisman roses mrs shulvers gown was midnight blue lace with which sho wore a bouquet of palo pink roses and a dark blue felt hat later the newly married couple left by motor for tho eastern states the bride travelling in a hennatan wool costume trimmed with black per sian lamb
