ed next year to finance the school account for three consecutive years a reduction of 500 has been made in tho school rate until it is now down where no further reductions can readily be expected miss isabel bell junior teacher on the stouffville continuation school staff has resigned and her resignation was read and accepted at this meeting the secretary was authorized to send miss bell a letter expressing the re grets of the board over her resig nation miss bell joined the iocal staff a year ago the secretary was authorized to advertise the vacancy on the staff one coal tender only one tender was in for the coal supply which was awarded to s w hastings for a so ton car of pocohontas coal at ss75 per ton delivered in the bins which is the same price as paid last year lower salaries
