OCTOBER 2003 Stouffville's latest' and much- needed retail addition ~ drew thousands of people to its grand opening Sept. 13. Amanda Day. owner of Enchanted Spa, will join in the spooky fun by helping BIA manager Ruth beBlanc to create a creepy downtown for this ghostly occasion. According to Amanda, "Life is no fun without a good scare", and she challenges all downtown stores to get into the spirit by dressing up their store front windows. After the parade, trick or treaters are invited to visit the Stouffville train station at 1 pm. and pick up free balloons and treat bags courtesy of the Stouffville Community Policing Centres Representatives of the BIA will give out candy and direct trick or treaters to downtown stores for more goodies. After the parade. the Dark Side Drivers, dressed in suitably sombre attire. will display their hearses and Halloween vehicles on Main Street. Magic Hill Haunted Adventure will also be on hand to take part in the parade before haunting the downtown core. On Oct. 25, the BIA hosts a double dose of Halloween fun, starting at noon with a downtown parade of vintage hearses, provided by the Dark Side Drivers from all over Ontario.
