The 11th annual fundraiser for the Stouffville Igoma Project takes place Oct. 23 at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club. The reception begins at 6 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 each and available at Barthau Jewellers, Candlelight and Memories or via the SIP website www.sippartnership.org. The evening also includes a silent auction and special speaker, CTV's Lance Brown. Those 13 people built a building they hoped would one day become a medical clinic. Over the years, a number of projects have been completed, including the construction of the medical facility, which operates 24/7; the installation of a reverse osmosis water purification system and an ultrasound machine.
