No matter which way you look at, next month we all go back to our regular schedules. To help send summer off with a blast, Moonlight Madness and Inside WhitchurchStouffville takes place Aug. 20 along Main Street from Market Street to Park Drive. This year's theme is once again Latin Night. The street, which will be closed, will be filled with Latin dancers and roaming entertainers as well as clowns and face painters. This event, more than others, brings out a largely local contingent, many of whom catch up with friends and neighbours they haven't seen all summer, according to Anna Rose, downtown co-ordinator for the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville. About 35 not-for-profit organizations will be set up along Main Street, with information on who they are and what they do. Information on volunteering is also available. "It's important (residents) know the resources available to them in town," Rose said. Some of the Main Street stores will also stay open later that night.
