GENERALLY SPEAKING: Spirit head coach Craig Donovan warned his players that they would be facing a different Brampton team. 'WetalMdaboutitandtriedtotellthem it would be a diï¬erent game. But it (hav- ing beaten them earlier with relative ease) might have been on the minds of the play- ers," he said. “We weren't focused enough early in the game." Donovan felt an inability by his club to capi- talize on early opportunities came back to haunt them. 'I thought we controlled the first period, we had a iotofsooringchancesbutwe couldn't capitalize. “In the second period their goal came off a miscue we made at the blueiine and then we had a goal that was disallowed and that would have made it 1-1."
