GARBAGE RECYCLING COLLECTION REMINDER T0 RESIDENTS The Town would like to remind residents of the following: The regular number of bags or containers placed out for garbage collection shall not exceed THREE (3) for each dwelling unit, commercial establishment or industrial establishment. YARD WASTE COLLECTION All yard waste material except brush must be placed in paper yard waste bags or an open top container (excluding cardboard boxes). Clear, opaque or orange bags will not be collected. Yard Waste is collected bi-yeekly on Mondays from April to November. Please refer to the collection schedule for the yard waste collection days for your area. A copy of the schedule can be obtained from www.townofws.com. Materials acceptable for collection include leaves, plants, fine brush, tree clippings and branches. Branches are not to exceed 100 mm (four inches) in diameter, and must be tied in bundles of a maximum length of 1.2 metres (four feet), and weighing no more than 22 kgs (fifty pounds). Please do not use wire to tie bundles. Materials W include grass clippings, stumps, root balls, rocks, food and kitchen wastes, animal droppings, fruit and vegetables, driveway and road sweepings.
