Mennos battle errors, mosquitoes in Bethesda SPORTSBOARD The Stoufl'ville Mennos battled the ï¬rst-year Stouffville Jones Pools team close for four innings in their Oshawa City and District Fastball league game at Bethesda Park Thursday. Unfortunately for the Mennos, the roof caved in when Jones Pools came to bat in the ï¬fth inning as they erupted for four runs en route to a 5-1 win. While Jones Pools collected three hits in the inning, the Men- nos hurt themselves by commit- ting two untirnely inï¬eld errors. The Mennos opened the scorâ€" ing in the top of the fourth inning on a run-scoring single by Pete Dzilums.
