A steam engine that was used in a lumber mill in east Toronto until the 19405 was moved from its storage facil- ity at new Bethesda Park yesterday. Museum’s steam engine on the moveagain wheel is 10 feet in diameter and weighs more than 4,000 pounds. There were at least seven sawmills powered by such steam engines in the former Whitchurch Township. Once it is at the museum in Vandorf, it will be used to illustrate the town's timber history and industrial heritage. Whitchurch-Stoufiville companies helped out. Schell Lumber and Anderson Haul age assisted with the move.
