principal legislation governing the affairs of municipalities in ontario council also authorized an agreement with the association of municipalities of ontarios local authority service las to provide closed meeting investigator services starting january 1 2008 upon receipt of an individuals application the closed meeting investigator will review and advise council whether it has held an incamera meeting in accordance with applicable legislation and town bylaws in addition council approved an accountability and transparency policy outlining the various means by which the town demonstrates its openness and accountability to the public and its various stakeholders the report including information on the closed meeting investigator and the accountability and transparency policy are available online at wwwtownofwscom or by contacting the clerks department understanding class environmental assessments council received a report on the municipal class environmental assessment process governed by the provisions of the ontario environmental assessment act information on the towns current projects currently undergoing class environmental assessments including associated opportunities for bylaw was amended to allow for an all- way stop at the intersection of montreal street and stouffer street heavy vehicle restriction hemlock drive and millard street council imposed a heavy vehicle restriction anytime on the fol lowing streets hemlock drive millard street to tenth line and millard street ninth line to a point 32 metres north of the intersection of north street these restrictions were reflected in amendments to the towns traffic control bylaw architectural services fire station arena complex the architectural firm of shore tilbe irwin and partners was selected to provide architectural services for the new fire station and arena complex facilities the fire station and arena complex are two separate facilities on the same site as such they are being planned and
