confident it has the right security measures in place to protect students this comes on the heels the conviction of a man who planned to kidnap a girl from a newmarket school matthew byers 31 of new market was recently convicted aug 24 of plotting to kidnap a girl after being found in a wood ed area behind glen cedar pub lic school in 2005 when york regional police arrested the man he had child
