ing to plans stouffville creek retire ment residence will be a full- service retirement residence karen kotanko sales and marketing consultant for diversicare canada manage ment services co inc said the residence to be locat ed northeast of the stouffville train station would offer meals activities laundry and housekeeping services and have registered staff in atten dance to provide nursing assistance although plans arent firmed up there could be a bistro area for residents and guests a private dining room and an activities room among other amenities there will be parking for 90 cars on the site tom parry the towns director of devel opment services said the 16acre property stretches from the end of freel lane north of main street adjacent to stouffville creek in down town stouffville the company is hoping that construction can start- this summer diversicare currently has 10 longterm care facilities and 24 retirement residences in ontario they usually offer small studios onebedroom suites or twobedroom apartments in the retirement residences local developer gino testa tried unsuccessfully to have a seniors residence built on the site about a decade ago before diversicare can
