security of our neighbourhoods is being threatened by police not haying the ability to respond to breakins vandalism and traffic violations i will work to put more police officers into york region communities immediately improved health care york region has theiastest growing population and the lowest per capita spending on hospitals and health care in the province i will work hard to have all levels of government including the region of york make health and hospital care the priority we all want it to be transportation traffic gridlock and lack of transit alternatives have reduced the quality of life for families and the competi tiveness of our businesses i support an immediate fair share of regional funding to widen markhams arterial roads and immediate work on implementation of light rail transit to link usto the subway and across york region rejuvenate markham i believe that the quality of service in markhams parks bike and walking paths and streets has deteriorated and will work to reestablish standards of maintenance lawn care and cleanliness that meet our communitys expectations we need to make up lost ground in making markham the leader it once was in providing levels of maintenance and service work needs to be done in everything from fixing town owned fences in milliken to upgrading the roadway entrances to all parti of the town to upgrading maintenance of the parks trees and grass right across the town turn ralph aselin xjj0wjmlmmwwmfrpmnmwsm from page 1 the pay the rent and feed the kids coalition called on georgina councillors monday night to
