snuck out of the house once or twice in the middle of die night i might have shown a tiny bit of attitude the odd time but i didnt get any tattoos or body piercing i didnt date any real criminals and i didnt do any illicit drugs i also didnt wear black lipstick one of my father many teen pet peeves whenever my dad and i got into a fight on die way to school which was unfor tunately an everyday occurrence i would sneak out of my first period class to the pay phones to call him and apologize even when he was wrong- i even forgave him after die time he was driving my friend and i home from school and he got so angry at me he told me to get out of die car it was only a twodoor vehicle and my friend didnt make it i will never forget the expression on my friend face as my dad sped away leaving me standing on the sidewalk and her sitting in the back seat he came back to pick me up again five minutes later just like i knew he would my dad and i made it through that diffi cult stage and have become very close i am no longer mentioned in his columns as die scary teenage daughter even though im doing more grown up things now im still his little girl he even wrote an incred ibly
