representative marie iro- moto talked to vince parry a music mania chorister who is also a mem ber of the trio and i got an invita tion for our little band glovin said parry we discussed it and we all agreed that music mania would be the nat ural choice to represent whitchurch- stouffville he suggested the chorus to iromo- to who invited both groups to per form about 30 people from the chorus are going down and were going to sing songs from the show well be singing outside the food building from 515 to 6 pm said doris harvey of music mania glovin s other members are lorna turner and gary burke and despite parrys contention that the bands name is gaelic for wonderful mu sic he cheerfully admitted that it was actually a compilation of the trios names groups from across the region will perform were featured on television in hamilton and performed at the markham fair and the silver jubilee club where a picture of some band members resplendent in their uni forms hangs on the wall the kitchen band entertained seniors in nursing homes and retire ment residences and at a variety of social gatherings the groups repertoire included music from the 40s and 50s as well as hymns and they
