breaker enduro and tour the tour which begins at durham regional rd 2 1 and concession 7 consists of a 25kilometre loop for novices and a 50km course for more advanced riders it is intended for nonmotorized bikes and adapted road bikes with thicker frames and lower gears than regular road bikes event organizer and local competitive rider eric orschel says upwards of 150 cyclists are expected to take part in the fun competition which would be 30 more than last year just how many riders we get will depend on the weather of course said orschel we are trying to promote the fun aspect of mountain biking its not really a race per se more like a fun mass participation event orschel said another purpose of the event is to educate people as to the availability of trails for mountain bikers in the stouffville and uxbridge area part of the proceeds raised from the tour will be donated to the canadian diabetes association said orschel riders can register at the site from 830930 am
