friends enemies and teachers compared what i did on my christmas vacation stor ies details regarding ski trips florida beaches christmas pre sents visiting relatives and new years eve parties were revealed to appreciative audiences all over sdss but by far the most popu lar conversations related to new years resolutions these promises were as varied as the students themselves rang ing from winning back football gambling losses nobody bet on the redskins to the ever popular get to class on time yet de spite this variance this years crop of resolutions had definite similarities by far the most popular among the student body was to ace all our exams as rumor has it this isnt the first time this resolution has circulated through the school these fortunate resolutionees will have a chance to test their prom ises for exams are a mere seven days away a popular resolution among a surprising number of teachers was to lose weight it seems even our principal picked up some ex tra baggage over the holidays thatsokay mr bright you look mahvellous still another favorite resolu tion which this reporter can per sonally relate to is to have no more automobile acci dents insurance and repairs are just too expensive and only slightly more popular than abolition of the painful wordoftheday is darren montgomerys declaration of groundhog day as a national holiday supported not only by student council president duff wallis but by our senior basket ball team as well keep your fin gers crossed but to the disappointment of the general populace many promin ent figures at sdss including secretaries english geography history and business teachers refused to commit themselves to a new years resolution why well ill only break them any way so why bother making them in the first place said the elo quent sandy semeniuk thats ironic thats what some students think about attendance rules so there you have it new years resolutions abound at stouffville high but the question everyone wants answered is will sdss live up to these pledges stay tuned groundhog day is only 21 days away we deliver we can deliver your flyers for as lillle as 35c each call advertising at 2942200 or
