urge you to attend if you were unable to attend a recent parents night you can send a note or make a phone call to the teachers to see what you can do in co operation with the school to make your childs year enjoyable and i enriching teachers actually like to hear from interested parents its nice to know theres support on the home front support and praise are positive steps to learn ing teachers with the help of pa rents can create a very stimulat ing learning atmosphere all teachers should be able to supply you with the curriculum for each subject taught youll know in a general way the direc tion the course will follow students in grades k to 13 yes even high school enjoy learning if you are planning a special trip knowing the curriculum now may help you plan something pertinent to this years education while en joying a holiday elsewhere no im not suggesting you drag the kids to every museum historical monument or centre in sight but if one such outing can be arranged during a holiday it will prove very beneficial what better way to learn than to experience it first hand all students have received a newsletter or handbook with goals policies and general items related to each school if you have not received yours ask your child i if its still in hisher school bag covered with cookie crumbs or the locker you know that crum pled piece of paper in the back of i the top shelf im sure the school office has two or three extras if the lost cannot be found showing an interest can make for a very successful parent- teacher relationship that will be- nefit your child lets
