that we announce the pas sing of our dear father lloyd grose and share with you some details of his life and death on august 30 dad suf fered a cerebral aneurysm and was rushed to wellesley hospital where he lost con sciousness and remained in a coma until september 4 on wednesday evening he died peacefully in the lov ing presence of our mother helen until the end both dads physical appearance and youthful spirit belied his age at sixtyfour he kept close to 400 beef cattle on the farm settled by his grand father in 1852 dads enthu siasm for farming was bol stered by that of our brother kevin whose assistance and insights were readily in corporated into the family operation a lifelong resident of whitchurchstouffville dad took a keen interest in the area serving variously as trustee of the local board for vivian school and as a mem ber of both the ballantrae community centre board and the mt albert legion in addition dad was affiliated with the york county plow mans association and the stouffville cooperative the church was a primary source of strength and joy for our father an active member of mccormack memorial church at vivian since 1936 he has served as sunday school superinten dent and teacher deacon and songleader two nights prior to the incident that re sulted in his death dad led a bible study on the assurance of eternal life for the believ er underlined in his bible was his text for ye are dead and your life is hid with christ in god dads commitment to his family has made home the place where his absence will be the most deeply felt he is survived by his wife helen hoover and their children donna and husband ivan dale kevin and wife mary- anne and keith dads sis ters arlene yvonne and phyllis brothers earl ben nett and bruce and aunts arlie and known as l m gardens on the 10th concession of markham in 1977 they expanded the opera tion to include property on the west side of the 10th and built a new home there mrs busato was intensely interested in the gardening operation and assisted with it at every opportunity she also enjoyed quiltmaking knitting and crocheting she was associated with st marks catholic church in stouffville father james adams conducted the service mrs busato was proud of her family that includes hus band louis sons frank bob and jim and daughters helen frenette and rita palmer another daughter anne pas-
