tribune july 3 1985 b5 late warren rae remembered for kindness stouffville war ren rae never spoke an un kind word against anyone this memory was upper most in the minds of more than 200 attending the funer al service saturday in springvale baptist church mr rae passed away june 27 at parkview home stouffville where hed been a resident almost three years he was 86 born in uxbridge twp the son of newton and eunice rae he moved with his parents to a farm east of hwy 48 in whitchurch township while still quite young his father served as reeve of the municipality fiftysix years ago he married mabel hall who survives along with three sons garnet of dicksons hill ivan of gormley har ry rr 2 stouffville one daughter jean mrs glenn wideman rr 1 gormle- y 17 grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren he was predeceased by a daughter rita and a brother stewart a sister beatrice lowe resides in toronto mr rae was a member in the congregation at bloomington christian gos pel church he also attended at mccormack memorial church vivian he showed great love for his children his grandchil dren and his great grandchildren rev bob flemming of springvale baptist church conducted the and tracy viggeers the master of ceremonies was chris murray tanis gornall delivered the vale dictory address seven students were honored for having achieved averages of 80 percent or over in nine subjects these werepaul adams tanis gornall chris murray nicole ire land russell thirgood renee gibson and kim murray valedictorian tanis gornall moved her audience to tears as she compared the dreams
