allstar tournament at the arena the junior girls took on the visiting brampton team and went down to a heavy 110 loss the aggressive play of the visitors saw the stouffville girls take one or two injuries but the truth was they were too young and inex perienced to cope with such a team the a and m record team did better in their game against senca college notwithstanding a 31 defeat one of the setbacks was the in clusion of the noncontact rule making it tough for the stouffville girls seneca always play under this rule sencas bev gordon picked up their first goal on an assist from cathy kealey cathy used to play for stouffville but changed sides when she went to college with two minutes left seneca collected their second goal by cathy stockman from dianne jackson there were no penalties in the first period although both teams collected a couple in the second honors went to kelly rexgraham and mary allbnght for stouffville and amy ramsay and bev gordon for seneca determined though they were to give seneca a run for their money the stouffville girls could manage only one goal in the third period scored by kathy mcbeth ifrom cheryl singleton ellen crystal on bev gordons assist gave seneca their final goal at 906 in the third period considering this was the leagues first allstar game this year they did well against a team that has been playing together all season diane houston and betty ann meredith shared goal tending duties for stouffville and it was nice to welcome back another ex- stouffville netminder lizette lacoursier now in net for seneca stouffville
