clobbered bowman vule 6- 2 in last mondays opening league game the stouffville novice club not only dominated offensively but were able to shut down the bowmanville attack allowing just five shots on goalies jonathon hall and chad redshaw the smythe duo accounted for four goals and one assist in the game as kirk racked up a hat trick kent getting one goal and one assist the other goals were scored by derek brown with blair steel craig mucci and james hume assisting previous opening game to the victory the polar bears had chalked up two exhibition wins against unionville and sharon the beach the rescheduled ladies hockey- auxiliary the wsmha last week announced the formation of a new ladies auxiliary chaired by damian mcquigge the auxiliary will be responsible for numerous fund raising events for minor hockey and will also look after the distribution and organization of hockey coats the ladies first event will be a bake sale in latcham hall on december 2 1978 place gw williams last week with both goals coming in the last four minutes of the williams team undefeated so far this year has not been scored on this season stephan hashinsky stouffville team captain dance
