for the ontario heart foundation pat a field co ordinator for the foundation thanked the town for their support and a special thanks went to lovanna sanders right who helped organize the fund raising drive held last month mrs joseph b hoover a prominent stouffville citizen passed away march 9 at the parkview home mrs hoover was bora 95 years ago on august 14 1884 and married joseph hoover on october 23 1923 she and her husband armed on the town line road and after his retirement they moved to dickson hill mrs hoover moved to rupert avenue in stouffville after the death of her husband mrs hoover raised two step daughters elsie hoover and sarah mrs thomas grove and one foster daughter clara mrs alvin grow all are deceased mrs hoover was also pre deceased by her two brothers albert and joseph but is survived by four step grandchildren six great grandchildren six foster grandchildren 11 nieces and nephews 28 great nieces and nephews and three great great nieces and nephews mrs hoover was a member of the wideman mennonite church and was president of the wmsc for many years she also taught sunday school for many years and was very fond of gardening- and flowers the funeral services were held last saturday at 2 pm at the wideman mennonite church with reverend william vanderbent officiating the spring interment will be in the wideman cemetery goodwood news ho cal children do
