sharron watts as they took a 73 victory over l m gardens the credit union girls with only one complete line outskated and outshot their l m rivals sharron watts led the team scoring with a three goal hat trick and she also picked up two assists debbie coxwortb followed close behind with her three goal and one assist effort kathy mcbeth rounded out the credit scoring with the seventh goal and she also picked up two assists other assists went to cindy gill with two and kelly rex- graham l m goals were pocketed by julie parish karen brown and vicky macdooald assists went to karen brown and heather dunkeld with two in the other senior girls game it was iga shutting out the sales barns squad 30 lga played one of their best games of the season in the win goals went to kathy kealy brenda lehman and maureen kamps assists w ere picked up by brenda steel brenda lehman kathy kealy and jolynne ayotte in junior girls play laurelea flowers with a lot of help from the lions team- defeated gormley greenhouses 41 all laurelea goals were put in by players borrowed from the lions club three of the goals came on unassisted ef forts by dorothy bein- tema colleen mcconnell and jannette cooper dorothy beintema also picked up the fourth laurelea goaluith lisa harper assisting the lone gormley goal whose team probably werent sure just who they were playing was put in by jackie armet from gloria mintz and karen brodie the other junior game saw the lions pay for their help to laurelea as the kinsmen team trounced them 71 julie thompson played a great game for the kinsmen as she put in five of the seven goals jannine smith unassisted and erin shepherd from jannine smith put in the other two kinsmen assists went to julie goldring two tammy peterson erin shepherd and jannine smith dorothy beintema got credit for the lone lions goals with karen felirx assisting clippers have rest over last weekend souses in second after 7831 win pistol fletcher and jon nigh recorded their highest point records for the year as the stouffville souses notched a 7831 victory over the st john saints in the uxbndge mens basketball league last week fletcher used his blinding speed to score 20 points and nigh parlayed his height and rebounding ability into 14 points the other souses also scored well as dave connell hit for 12 don beauchamp and randy barber each tallied 10 and gary fockler and eric button both scored six points this victory marks the halfway point in the schedule and after their default loss last week to daheim the souses are in second place with an 8 2 record the baseline bullets still are clinging to first with a 91 record and daheim is making things hot for both teams with their 73 record play resumes in the league on monday jan 9 f the stouffville clippers
