this month in his 83rd year son of the late george dowswell and helen watson he was born sept 15 1892 near garibaldi he served in world war i and was wounded at amiens and spent a year in hospital in england on returning to canada in 1919 mr dowswell took up far ming near goodwcsd and on march 24 1920 married the late myrtle tindall they had four children ruth deceased erma mrs t g smyth of born jan 23 1895 near glasgow blanche may lewis and took her formal education at ballantrae ringwood and lemonville on dec 30 1915 she married elmer wells and they took up residence on the vandorf rd in 1931 they purchased a 100acre parcel on the bloomington rd then in 1955 they retired to a lloyd ave home were she presently lives mrs wells is an avid gardener and is a life member of the lemon
