orchard parkpublic school twice a week during the winter months the school offers six different programs from which the students can choose one the activity time is tuesday s and friday afternoons between 245 and 330 one of the largest groups is the boys cooking class that includes 28 participants under the direction and guidance of ed macdonald last week they cooked up maca roni and cheese with bacon the cooking is done in a regular classroom on borrowed coleman stoves the group has made delicacies such as grilled cheese sandwiches cheese omlette chili and pancakes all the receipes are prepared in one period and then consumed by the boys at the conclusion of the class the woodworking class under vice- principal jim lawless includes eight girls and 16 boys the students are working on
