to the electors of uxbridge township regional government is coming probably by by 1972 so let us take the rscessary steps to assure that uxbridge township can retain its identity on the map if century city is approved in the near future this could easily be the determining factor in the decision of the minister of municipal affairs in arriving at his decision if century city is delaved very long and no decision is reached then we could and probably would be split into sections and be come part of the neighbouring towns and townships because of our small population so elect a council which will negotiate for the protection of your tax dollar with the century city developers on this very pressing problem it is my earnest wish to commence a paving program which is badly needed in the township we need a strong voice on county council and being warden in 1962 i believe it to be of great value i assure you that if elected deputyreeve i am resolved to give all matters pertaining to the best interests of the township my careful consideration your vote and influence is respectfully requested earl dowswell polling day- dec 1st 1969 hours1000 am to 800 pm redwhite best buy assorted
