at sideroad no 25 you can see bells mountain or perhaps you know it as kettle point all who have made the climb to the top have marvelled at the spectac ular view on a clear day you can see lake they are sitting on top of history there are two stories about that remarkable hill and it seems to me that they fit together per fectly after the macken zie rebellion in 1837 a number of rebels took township hall for the dickinson family who will be mov ing soon to their new farm at woodville norm and merle were presented with a clock and hassock for their new home and their daughters sandra bernice and helen were each riven a lovely pin the taylor family en joyed a busy vacation at their farm near cochrane there was willis and blanche wayne and his wife anne dale walter harold bunker blanches brother lome and his wife bernice and their children and ralph and marjorie cooper ted and nancy kidd and family dropped in for a visit and there were lots of rela tives from cochrane stop ping to say hello oh yes and the black flies and the sand fleas came too and stayed the whole week mrs kathleen may took a sentimental journey by train to her old home in ogema saskatchewan earlier
