uxbridge ratepayers executivejom- mittee this week it decided that with the pub lic meeting on the propos ed bylaw controlling gra vel and quarry operations scheduled for monday november 25 at 800 pm in the goodwood hall it would be inopportune to hold another general meet ing before the middle of january next year instead they urge that all members of the association and in terested ratepayers turn out for the above meeting to ensure that the interests of the township and its residents are both repre sented and protected it is felt that this bylaw if passed could have an ef fect both directly and in directly on our future for many years to come there fore it is essential that any ratepayer who has an opin ion on the subject should be there to express it looking forward to their next meeting in january the executive decided that mr earl dowswell a long time resident of the town ship should be officially approached and invited to address the meeting on the subject of township af fairs mr dowswell has held several public offices including councillor and reeve of uxbridge town ship warden of ontario county and until quite re cently was a member of the committee of adjust ment his prowess as a public speaker is well known therefore he should make the meeting a very interesting one as mr dowswell has already been unofficially approached on this subject it is confi
