impressive service in the legion hall and later at the cenotaph in the civic square on the 50th anni versary of the end of the 191418 conflict the procession vas headed by the stouffvule drum and bugle corps participants in the wreathlaying ceremony in cluded mrs fred winn representing the province of ontario reeve ken laushway village of stouffville arthur heaton royal canadian legion mrs jake hoover legion ladies auxiliary ken wagg stouffville lions club and robert morley stouffville kinsmen club legion auxiliary presi dent mrs aurelia smith dropped a poppy at the base of the cenotaph in memory of those who died in two wars the names were read by padre george davison prior to the service legion members placed poppies at the gravesides of veterans in the stouff ville cemetery a brief but impressive service was conducted at the cenotaph in the stouffville civic square sunday after noon on behalf of the province of ontario a wreath was laid by mrs fred winn tindale road staff
