HOGG AT DOME LAST WEEK fÂ¥Friends of the family last week learned with very .sincere regret of the death of Mrs. James Hogg, the sad event taking place on Tuesday evening at the home of her son, Mr. Alex Hogg, Dome Mines. The late Mrs. Hogg ‘had been ailing for about a year and so her death was not alâ€" together unexpected yet it came as a serious blow to all who knew her. The late Mrs. Hogg was wellâ€"known and very highly esteemed in the Camp and reégret at her death will be very genâ€" eral and sincere. ‘Her husband, the late James Hogg, died about nine years ago, shortly after the family came to the Camp from Scotland. Three sons, Thomas, of Iroquois Falls, Alex. of the Dome, and James, also of the Dome and two daughters, Mrs. Ben Curtis, of the Dome, and Miss Mina, at home, survive and to these the sympathy of all will go out in their loss. The late Mrs. Hogg was about 67 years of age. The funeral took place at Timmins cemetery, Rev. Mr. MceVitty conducting semvices at the house before the funeral left for Timmins. * Telesphore Guidon, George Smith and Maurice Credeau, arrested in con, nection with the recent ‘‘riots‘‘ in Sudbury when groups of unemployed men visited cafes and took food, as well as damaging property, were last week sentenced to terms in jail, the last named for seven days and the other two for not less than two months or more than one year.
