The slide on the lake near the pumphouse is a beauty. It has a drop of about 200 feet from the top to the ice, and one toboggan went nearly another 200 feet one day last week after coming to the ice surface. Only about 48 feet of tressil work was necessary to comâ€" plete the slide, the rest of the slide being natural ground and the lake ice surface. At the top of the slide a 500â€" watt nitroâ€"tungsten lamp, and reflector have been placed and this illuminates the whole slide. On Sunday about 150 people took advantage of the pleasure of the fine slide.
