The extent to which the United States framed its laws and constitution upâ€" on British precedents is also acknowâ€" ledged, and Mr. James Wallace of Macalester College, St. Paul, Minn., is quoted very appropriately as saying: *‘‘«Only the Englishâ€"speaking nations can claim so rich a"political heritage. It is a unity in their example to other nations of social and political develâ€" opment; a very definite expression of the hope of international goodâ€"will and world betterment; something inâ€" finitely greater than their wealth, their power and their industry."‘ To foster and enlarge these ideas and ideals, it is suggested that Magna Charta Day be generally observed by tions, wealth or even to their common language, nor to the fact that they border the earth‘s four corners.
