Hold Regular Meeting The Woman‘s Association of First United Church held their regular meeting Thursday in the church hall. Mrs Rutherford conducted the deâ€" votional period, following which a letter of appreciation for food parcels sent to England was read. After a lengthy business discussion, a nominating committee was drawn up to choose a slate of officers for 1949. Mrs. W. P .Bennetts, treasurer gave a most gratifying report. For the Christmas meeting it was decided that the "Weeks" invite the "Days‘‘ with the executive as hostesses. Mrs. E. A. Wadge entertained the members with several lovely vocal seâ€" lections. Mrs. W .Rinn conducted an exchang of household hints and recipes. Mrs. Lillie extended a vote of thanks on behalf of the members to Mrs. Rinn and Mrs. Wadge.
