This, as is evident leaves Timmins and Kirkâ€" land Lake high and dry in Senior A with Schumacher vs. Iroquois Falls and Iroquois Falls and Kapuskasing in Senâ€" jor B. oithe schedule will be on Kirkland Lake. such a big school as Timmins with such awide range of boys t opick from. Ahem! _ Therefore the only solution left was to have two Senior Classes of Football. Senior A and Senior B Senior A is composed of schools with ‘ownship rivalry of course. Then there is a possibility of the plavâ€"offs with a senior B team or Kirkland Lake ond purely reminissing Cobalt, North Bay, Sudbury andso on down the line, Please note these are not predictions jJust hopes. We can dream can‘t we. Summing all reports toge her it apâ€" pears that the smaller schools believe it isn‘t quite fair for them to play little here and there to make up this week‘s column. Probably the msot interesting thing at the present (tonight that is) is ‘he rugby schedule. Interesting but disâ€" appointinge for rugby playets and fans alikeâ€"only four games, yes a sum toâ€" tal of four games in the schedule and the hopes of an exhibition game with Schumacher, Grrrrrrâ€"purely friendly by DBonald Hindson The time rolls around again when we must gather bits of information and gossip ‘ogether, ponder a bit, add a High Lowdown John sume DOGs fi CATS 7 )n Tursday Septsmber l R. In various sections of (the town weinâ€" er roasts were planned for Saturday last, but if you remember they were more or less, (and mostly more) rained out. . Nevertheless a few very interâ€" ecting house parties resultedâ€"enough said! Boys should watch out or maybe on the lookout as the girls are after esâ€" corts for the coming tugby dances. OJ all the gall, the girls will say but remember this is a gossip column and the views expressed here are necessâ€" arily those of the wrier. A six man touch â€" rugby league is being drawn up by Bob VanRassell and is being looked forward to by all YÂ¥ members. â€" Entries may be left af the Y. â€" Gosd work Bob. The social season is usually started probably be decidedly craqlped, there off by the rugby dances and thus will peing only two scheduled rugby games in Timmins and thus only two rugby dances. HMHowever there may be a few playofft games or exhibition games. sOsHUL NOTES The social or gossip column as it is commonly called is very likely the heart of a High School column, so for better or worse here it is. The orchestra had their first reâ€" hersal Monday night 410. . There it was dcecided to have evening reherâ€" sals to enable former High School members to attend. These rehersals will be held at o‘clock Wednesday cvtnings.
