A basement is being dug and the formsr public library is being attached to the regular hall, making it more suitable to the needs of the Scouts, Cubs, Guides and Brownies who will be using the building for their regular meetings, rallies and parties as soon as work can be completed. Sarah Ann Firth Married In B.C. Walter Firth, brother of the bride was the best man. On Saturday the Boy Scouts held their annual Apple Day Appeal for funds to carry on their splendid work in the district. The Seouts canvassed the entire mining district and with the funds expect to carry on to comâ€" pletion the work started on their hall near the ball grounds.
