The theme was "For Lo the Winter is Gone", "At work Beside His The Beginners then sang "The Trees," "Canary Song", and "Thank You Verse‘". It was wonderful how quickly they learned the actions in the songs and how well they sang them for some of the children were under four years of age. Mrs. James MacKerzie, leader of the Beginners, then cutlined their work. The theme for this years class was "out of Doors" so they decided to bring the theme indoors in the form of a garden, each child in the beginners class had a potted plant which they watered everyday and at the close of the school they then brought horne to their parents. .
