E. Legris Populal RQSldPnt ’ Here for 25 Years There is very wide regret here gt the death on Monday morning of Mr. James Edward Legris who passed aâ€" way at St. Mary‘s hospital after an illâ€" ness of some three months. The lats Mr. Legris had been a resident of Timmins for twentyâ€"five years, being a popular employee of the Ho!liuger during that time. Previous to c~.aing here he was in Cobalt Camp, thus beâ€" ing one of the pioneers of the North. The late J. E. Legrisâ€" was born in Calabogie, Renfrew County sixtyâ€" nine years ago. He spent a geat part of his life in the North where he had wide circles of friends. He is survived by his widow and two daughters, Loretta and Patricia, and to these the deep sympathy of all goes out in their loss. Three sisters, Mrs. E. Proulx, Timmins (Angelina), â€" Mrs. Clarence Woodward, Kirkland Lake (Minnie) .and Mrs. Wm. Johnson, Fort William (Josie), also survive. Funeral services were held at the Church of the Nativity on Wednesday morning and were largely attended. Interment was made in Timmins cemâ€" etery.
