Plan to present to your boys a proâ€" gramme of true Baden Powell Scoutâ€" ing, always remembering the "out‘" in Scout. By full cooperation on the part of all leaders and a carryingâ€"out of true Scout spirit, the year ahead may well be a history making one for the Timâ€" mins Local Association. and in assisting many other wellâ€"deâ€" serving causes, and the boys have mado a name for themselves through their courtesy and efficiency. A goodly sum has been raised for the B. P. Chins Up Fund, a direéect war effort. Hours of war service have been piled up by the boys and several are now around the i00â€" hour mark. Many old Scouts have left for the armed forces, and a gocd numâ€" ber of our leaders New leaders have taken over the duties of training the boys, and have been doing splendidly. All in all, we believe we may be exâ€" cusssd if we feel really proud of the things that have been accomplished in these times when added difficulties beset us. The year ahead holds much promise, but to be as successful as we have been in the past every one of us must now make up our minds that our efforts must not slacken. With the changes that are constantly occurring even more zeal must be put into all we do. Let us all survey the results of past endsavors, pick out points that can be built or improved upon, and deâ€" termine that the vear 1943 will be a banner ons in local Scouting history.
